How Do I Know which Church is the Best for me to Attend? 

There are several things to consider when decided what church to attend and become a member of.  The first thing to consider is what the church believes.  Every church should have some type of written statement as to what they believe the Bible teaches on certain critical doctrines which are necessary for salvation.  Some of these critical doctrines should include statements that say their church believes that Jesus Christ is God, born of a virgin and that Christ died on the cross and rose from the dead to purchase the salvation of man.  A church should also believe that there is only one true God and the Bible is the inspired and infallible Word of God.   It is also important that a church teaches that all men are sinners and need to come to God for salvation and the forgiveness of sins through God's grace by faith in Christ.  Another important stand that a church must make is to challenge people to live free from sin and that there will be a day of Judgment where all men will give account to God for what they have done in this life.   Finally, a church must believe in the literal future coming of Christ to earth again for His church in which the dead in Christ will be raised and the living will be changed and that Christ will judge all men. 
In addition, there are some other things that are recommended for you to look for in a church.  While the following things are not necessary for salvation, they will help you find a full experience of all that God has for you.   Look for a church that believes in the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues as a definite experience to be sought by every believer (Acts 2:1-4).  They should also believe in  praying for the sick with the anointing of oil (James 5:13-16) and in the operation of spiritual gifts in the lives of believers as the Holy Spirit gifts them (1Corinthians 12-14).
Finally, God will lead you in your decision as you look for a church.  As you pray, God will give you direction and show you where you can fellowship, serve and worship.
